Se revelan los nominados de TV y Cine a los SPA Awards de Australia

Screen Producers Australia anunció el jueves los nominados en 13 categorías para sus premios anuales SPA Awards. Las obras candidatas deben haberse proyectado entre julio de 2021 y diciembre de 2022.

En la carrera por el largometraje del año están: “The Drover’s Wife – The Legend of Molly Johnson” (Oombarra Productions y Bunya Productions), “Here Out West” (Co-Curious), “The Power of the Dog” (See-Saw Films), “The Stranger” (See-Saw Films y Blue-Tongue Films), “Sissy” (Arcadia), “Gold” (Deeper Water Films), “How to Please A Woman” (Feisty Dame Productions y Such Much Films) e “Interceptor” (Ambience Entertainment).

En la búsqueda del galardón a la mejor serie dramática están: “Heartbreak High” (Netflix) de Fremantle Australia; “Bump” temporada 2 (Stan) de Roadshow Rough Diamond; “The Twelve” (Foxtel y Binge) de Easy Tiger Productions y Warner Bros. International Television Production Australia; “Firebite” (ABC) de See-Saw Films; “Mystery Road: Origin” (ABC) de Bunya Productions; “Significant Others” (ABC) de Fremantle Australia; “Troppo” (ABC) de EQ Media y Beyond International; y “Love Me” (Foxtel y Binge) de Warner Bros. International Television Production Australia y Aquarius Films.

Los nominados en la categoría de largometrajes documentales son: “We Were Once Kids” (Resolution Media), “Ithaka: The Fight To Free Julian Assange” (Shipton House), “Our African Roots” (Chemical Media), “Watandar, My Countryman” (Light Sound Art Film), “Incarceration Nation” (Bent3Land Productions), “Girl Like You” (Rush Films), “Unseen Skies” (In Films) y “Under the Volcano” (Rush Films).

La votación está abierta desde ahora hasta el 26 de febrero de 2023. Los SPA Awards se entregarán en una ceremonia que tendrá lugar el 5 de mayo, último día de la convención Screen Forever, producida por SPA, en la Costa Dorada de Queensland.
