Se anuncian las nominaciones en TV a los Critics Choice Awards 2023.

Abbott Elementary ha encabezado la lista de nominados televisivos a los Critics Choice Awards 2023, obteniendo seis nominaciones. La serie de comedia de ABC fue nominada a mejor serie de comedia, mejor actriz de serie de comedia (Quinta Brunson), mejor actor de reparto de serie de comedia (tanto Chris Perfetti como Tyler James Williams) y mejor actriz de serie de comedia (Janelle James y Sheryl Lee Ralph). Better Call Saul, de AMC, le siguió con cinco nominaciones, entre ellas mejor serie dramática, mejor actor de serie dramática (Bob Odenkirk), mejor actor de reparto de serie dramática (Giancarlo Esposito) y mejor actriz de reparto de serie dramática (Carol Burnett y Rhea Seehorn).

Otras nominadas destacadas son Prey, de Hulu, y Weird: The Weird Al Yankovic Story, de The Roku Channel, ambas nominadas a mejor película para televisión. Sus respectivos protagonistas, Amber Midthunder y Daniel Radcliffe, también fueron nominados como mejor actriz y mejor actor de serie limitada o película para televisión. Los dramas de estreno Andor, Bad Sisters, House of the Dragon y Severance se unieron a las comedias de la primera temporada The Bear y Reboot en las nominaciones a series.

El fallecido Leslie Jordan fue nominado como mejor actor de reparto en una serie de comedia por su papel en Call Me Kat. Ray Liotta también obtuvo una nominación póstuma por su papel secundario en la serie limitada de Apple TV+: Black Bird. HBO/HBO Max son las cadenas con más nominaciones, con un total de 21, seguidas de FX y Netflix, con 15 cada una.

“A medida que nos embarcamos en la celebración de la 28ª edición anual de los Critics Choice Awards, estamos sorprendidos por la gran cantidad de programas de televisión notables que fueron considerados para convertirse en los nominados de este año”, dijo el copresidente de la rama de televisión de la Critics Choice Association, Ed Martin, en un comunicado. “Claramente, la industria se ha recuperado a lo grande. Estamos deseando rendir homenaje a los mejores programas y actuaciones del año en la próxima ceremonia de entrega de premios.”

La 28ª edición de los Critics Choice Awards se celebrará en el Fairmont Century Plaza de Los Ángeles y se emitirá en directo en The CW de 19:00 a 22:00 hora del este. Los nominados en las categorías de cine se anunciarán el 14 de diciembre.
